    Parker Precision Fluidics is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Test Automation Engineer to lead the design, programming, verification, and implementation of automated test systems for valves, pumps, and sub-systems. This role is pivotal in validating product performance, ensuring quality, and driving continuous improvement in products and manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, fluidic, and applications engineers, within a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

     

    + Develop and maintain LabVIEW software to control automated test equipment and assembly fixture automation.

    + Design, develop, and implement test equipment, including custom test fixtures and sensor interface circuitry, tailored to product requirements.

    + Create, update, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), training materials, and comprehensive documentation for test systems.

    + Manage deployment and configuration changes of test equipment through structured change control processes aligned with product lifecycle management.

    + Collaborate with product design teams to incorporate testability considerations early in the development cycle.

    + Develop prototype test tools to validate new product designs and support engineering development efforts.

    + Continuously evaluate and improve test methodologies, processes, and procedures to enhance test efficiency, accuracy, and reliability across the division.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

    + 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing electromechanical test equipment.

    + LabVIEW programming experience with a strong understanding of software design principles preferred.

    + Knowledge of test methodologies, design for manufacturing (DFM), and design for test (DFT) best practices.

    + Proficiency in sensor technologies and DAQ interfaces, including operational amplifiers, encoders, motor drives, serial communication protocols, microprocessors, and programmable logic devices desired.

    + Experience with fluidic components and systems, including understanding the physics of gas and liquid flow and measurement of key parameters, is preferred.

    + Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex issues on both the production floor and in the engineering lab.

    + Proven project and task management capabilities, with a track record of leading initiatives to successful completion.

    + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.

    + Positive attitude, high energy, and demonstrated leadership qualities with a passion for continuous improvement.
