The Operations Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data related to manufacturing operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and aiding decision-making. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to monitor costs, analyze variances, and support financial forecasting and budgeting for manufacturing processes to the General Manager.
Principle Responsibilities
+ Prepare / Review weekly /monthly entries and analyses related to purchase price variance, labor, overhead, productivity, and inventory
+ Complete month-end journal entries to support the financial close process
+ Lead the annual operating budget preparation process for the businesses
+ Prepare the monthly financial forecasts
+ Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided to determine effects on cost
+ Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing actual expenses to budget
+ Input and maintain cost in SAP
+ Review business unit and interdepartmental cross-charges and make adjustments or reclassifications as needed.
+ Prepare weekly / monthly operational performance metrics for the Jackson manufacturing facility and Direct Import team.
+ Where not explicitly mentioned above, support the Direct Import team in the above functions as required.

+ Ability to meet attendance standards. All full-time employees are required to work a 40-hour week. Sometimes, it may be necessary to work additional hours to accomplish the required tasks and meet deadlines.

Education/Experience:
+ Candidates will have a minimum of an associate’s degree in finance or accounting
+ 0 to 2 years of overall accounting experience
+ SAP experience is also a plus.
+ Must know Windows and Microsoft Office software products with an emphasis on Excel
