The Architect role is pivotal in designing and implementing robust solutions using Python AWS Glue ETL and Amazon S3. With a hybrid work model and day shift the candidate will use their expertise to optimize data workflows and storage solutions ensuring seamless integration and performance. This role requires a minimum of 8 years and a maximum of demonstrated ability in relevant technologies.
Responsibilities
• Design and implement scalable data solutions using Python to enhance data processing capabilities.
• Develop ETL processes using AWS Glue to ensure efficient data transformation and loading.
• Manage and optimize data storage solutions on Amazon S3 to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Provide technical expertise in Python and AWS services to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards through robust architecture design.
• Analyze existing systems and propose improvements to enhance performance and scalability.
• Monitor and solve data workflows to ensure seamless operation and minimal downtime.
• Document architectural designs and processes to maintain clarity and facilitate future enhancements.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve solutions.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions to empower team members with technical skills.
• Engage in problem-solving and critical thinking to address complex data challenges effectively.

• · Possess strong expertise in Python programming for data processing and automation.
• Show talent in AWS Glue ETL for efficient data transformation and integration.
• Have extensive experience with Amazon S3 for data storage and management.

• Show ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams to achieve project goals.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 – $ 130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
