    Now Hiring Security Officers in the Reston, VA area! Looking for Weekends/Weekday availability

     

    DCJS License and Driver's License are required for this position.

     

    The Security Officer is accountable for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. Our security officers

     

    + act as a visible deterrent to crime

    + identify and report suspicious, dangerous, or criminal acts

    + perform foot patrol in outside environments

    + monitor CCTV

    + operate a two-way radio

    + produce and maintain different security operations reports and forms

    + provide guidance and directions to guests

     

    Successful candidates must have

     

    + excellent customer service, phone, and computer skills

    + two (2) years of security experience

    + Active DCJS

    + 21+ years of age

    + proficient two-way radio communication skills

    + CCTV and dispatch experience

    + a high school diploma or equivalent

    + Effective written and oral communication skills

    + the ability to successfully complete a background and drug screen in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

    + the ability to stand for long periods of time and ability to walk, patrol for a complete 8-hour shift.

    + a valid U.S. Driver's License - required.

     

    Pay: $19/hr

    Hours:

    + (Full-time)

    + 7am-3pm

    + 8am-4pm

    + 12pm-8pm
