QA Lead : Mobile Automation on iOS and Android(Onsite)

Onsite Location : Palo Alto, CA

Qualifications

Have 10 + years of overall experience, in Mobile automation on iOS & Android using tools like Appium and Selenium.

Good hands on experience using iOS Simulators & android emulators and developed scripts to test their applications across different configurations.

Proven experience with Automation - Selenium\Java, testing UI and backend components.

Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted standard processes.

Supervise all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met

Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage outside contract testers

Develop and implement automation test scripts, plans and procedures for mobile, web applications

_Roles & Responsibilities_

Understand existing BFS business logic, develop mobile automation scripts based on the commercial banking application for both iOS and android devices, execute and test the mobile app using Appium

Develop/ automates the functional scripts using Selenium, restful services and perform test strategy, test planning, test design, functional, regression testing to ensure that new features and updates do not negatively impact existing functionality.

Understand end to end test requirements of Commercial & Investment Banking solutions, develop, implement QA process and cover end-to-end functionalities for detailed test design.

Developing comprehensive test plans and strategies, testing scope, objectives, and timelines.

Lead QA initiatives including managing QA teams of 5-10 people and contributing to the testing effort in a hands-on role & Good Functional testing

Should have excellent communication and collaboration skills to

Work optimally with multi-functional teams.

Provide detailed test reports and quality metrics to collaborators

Work Authorization

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 6/16/25

The annual salary for this position is between $ 71,100/- to $ 112,500/- depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans
