    Things You’ll Do

     

    + Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, owners, and agency representatives.

    + Successfully prepare bids, negotiate contracts, and win large commercial excavation projects.

    + Effectively oversee writing of proposals, bidding correspondence, budgets, project resource needs.

    + Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures, including current information on prices from suppliers through direct contact, sales brochures, price list, etc.

    + Prepare detailed estimates by calculating complete scope of work and materials.

    + Review design options and recommend best solution based on cost, engineering, quality, or availability of materials.

    Requirements

    + 4-year Construction Management/Engineering degree, or equivalent combination of technical training and or experience.

    + Experience with the following software is beneficial HCSS, Viewpoint, P-6, Trimble Business Center, or Agtek.

    + 2-5 years of experience in the field.

    + Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

    + Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, and technical skills.

    + Strategic thinking skills.

    + Excellent customer service skills.
