    Diesel Mechanic – 2nd and 3rd Shift Opportunities Available

    **Location:** Northeast Philadelphia

    **Pay Range:** $25–$35 per hour, depending on experience

    Overtime Available

    A well-established company in Northeast Philadelphia is looking for experienced Diesel Mechanics to join its growing maintenance team. These full-time positions offer the chance to work in a modern facility with a clean, newly built shop and on-site truck wash. Uniforms are professionally laundered, and a competitive benefits package is available.

    Current Openings:

    + **2nd Shift Diesel Technician** – Typical start time is around 3:00 PM, with flexibility of about one hour earlier or later based on availability.

    + **3rd Shift Diesel Mechanic (Reefer Experience Required)** – Overnight shift typically begins around 10:00 PM.

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines on company vehicles, medium and heavy-duty diesel trucks, including box trucks and tractor trailers.

    + Perform preventative maintenance, part replacements, and system testing. Maintain vehicle and truck conditions by repairing mechanical and electrical system malfunctions, repairing engine failures, and replacing vehicle and truck parts

    + Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using tools, manuals, and schematics.

    + Ensure compliance with state and DOT safety and performance standards.

    + Maintain detailed records and complete required paperwork.

    + Work independently and follow all safety procedures.

    + Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    + 3+ years prior experience or formal training in diesel engine repair is required.

    + Must have your own set of quality hand tools.

    + CDL A is a plus, or willingness to obtain one with training support.

    + Flexibility to work overtime, as it is always readily available!

    + Military experience is welcomed and valued.

    + FOR THE 3RD SHIFT: Experience with refrigeration units (reefer systems) is strongly preferred for the overnight role.
