As a Senior Finance Manager in IT Cost Operations, you will be accountable for managing the financial aspects of IT operations, including budgeting, cost control, financial thoughtfulness, and forecasting. Your expertise in finance and IT will contribute to optimizing costs, improving financial performance, and driving operational efficiency.
In this role, you will impact the financial health and strategic direction of our IT operations, ensuring that financial operations align with corporate goals. Your financial insights and thoughtfulness will facilitate decision-making and drive continuous improvement in cost optimization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Manage the financial aspects of IT operations, including budgeting, cost control, financial thoughtfulness, and forecasting
+ Work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute financial strategies and initiatives
+ Monitor and optimize IT costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities and driving efficiency
+ Provide financial insights and thoughtfulness to facilitate decision-making and drive continuous improvement
+ Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
+ Guide, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals
In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.

YOU MUST HAVE
+ Minimum of 8 years of experience in progressive finance roles, with a focus on IT cost operations
+ Strong financial modeling, thoughtfulness, and forecasting skills
+ Excellent insight into financial regulations, reporting standards, and compliance
+ Exceptional guidance and team management skills
WE VALUE
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred
+ Relevant certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are highly valued
+ Continuous improvement mindset to challenge the status quo and drive process efficiencies
+ Strategic thinking and a proven ability to drive financial initiatives
+ Outstanding communication and people-oriented abilities
