    Job Title: Supply Chain SupervisorJob Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Supervisor to oversee our supply chain and procurement processes. The ideal candidate will identify and approve new suppliers and carriers, negotiate competitive pricing for raw materials, supplies, and freight, and create and manage purchase orders while posting receipts in our ERP system.

    Responsibilities

    + Identify and approve new suppliers and carriers.

    + Negotiate pricing for raw materials, supplies, and freight to maintain competitiveness.

    + Create and manage purchase orders; post receipts in ERP upon delivery.

    + Maintain and update supplier and item records in Navision ERP.

    + Define and manage safety stock and reorder points to prevent stockouts.

    + Track and input sales forecasts into ERP; own the forecast process.

    + Monitor customs duties and tariff changes; communicate updates to leadership.

    + Manage production and inventory planning based on sales forecasts and management input.

    + Reconcile inventory through monthly physical counts and resolve discrepancies.

    + Provide strategic analysis and feedback to support planning and decision-making.

    + Coordinate with internal teams to align production with demand.

    + Coordinate distribution requirements and documentation with the Distribution Center.

    + Negotiate transportation rates and manage logistics quotes for RFQs.

    + Track international shipments and communicate delays to stakeholders.

    + Office equipment, supplies, and services to support business operations.

    + Organize and maintain internal documentation and technical data sheets.

    Essential Skills

    + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data entry.

    + Experience in supply chain management, inventory control, and production planning.

    + Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Navision ERP.

    + Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing vendor relationships.

    + Ability to manage production and inventory planning based on sales forecasts.

    + Knowledge of tariffs and customs duties.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Purchasing preferred.

    + Previous experience in Supply Chain or Logistics.

    + Successful experiences in supplier negotiations.

    + Excellent organizational and project management skills.

    + Strong communication and analytical skills.

    + Problem-solving abilities.

    + Experience in Lean Manufacturing.

    + FSSC22000 internal auditor or similar Food safety/Quality system internal auditor certification.

    + Strategic and analytical mindset.

    + Knowledge of incoterms.
