    Starting Salary: $73,140.00

    AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY, AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES (AFSCME) – BARGAINING UNIT 1, 3, 4 & 5.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    • Identify, develop and implement vital training requirements and assist the Organizational Development section's Training Director to implement a comprehensive training program for all CDA staff.

    • Analyze training progress on a continual basis and recommend new or revised training modules as needed.

    • Design and develop training curriculums, facilitate training sessions, and provide necessary budget input.

    • Ensuring CDA is following all City of Chicago Mandatory Training Requirements.

    • Develop eLearning courses using the application Articulate 360.

    • Develop and maintain training records through the Learning Management System.

    • Facilitate CDA New Employee Orientation and assigned training topics.

    **DAYS & HOURS:** MONDAY-FRIDAY 8:30 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.

     

    THIS POSITION IS IN THE CAREER SERVICE.

    Qualifications:

    **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** **:** Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree supplemented by three years of training or teaching experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

     

    NOTE: The candidates selected for hire must pass an airport background check and a Security Threat Assessment.

     

    NOTE:** **Must be flexible for early and/or late meetings and weekends.

     

    NOTE:** **This position requires a VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE at the time of hire.

     

    NOTE:** **This position will support both O’Hare Airport and Midway Airport.

     

    **Selection Criteria:** This position requires applicants to complete an interview which will include a written assessment. The interviewed candidate(s) possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, based on the interview and assessment, will be selected.
