Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This position involves handling inventory discrepancies, reviewing invoices, generating reports, and managing customer communications through various portals.
Responsibilities
+ Manage inventory discrepancies such as shortages and overages.
+ Review invoices and generate reports.
+ Handle carrier-related information across multiple portals.
+ Monitor and respond to customer emails.
+ Manage shared inboxes and work directly with sales representatives and customer support.
+ Process journal entries to reconcile invoices with corresponding credits or debits.
+ Review pricing claims and identify missing promotional discounts.
+ Investigate and resolve freight claims that were not initially submitted or processed.
Essential Skills
+ Strong knowledge of finance and credit concepts, including a basic understanding of commercial/consumer law.
+ Ability to professionally consult with internal and external customers to resolve complaints.
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex problems.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse partners both internally and externally.
+ Well-organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated with effective time management skills.
+ Fluency in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or Supply Chain.
+ Proficiency in Excel skills, including vlookups and pivots.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
+ Experience with accounts receivable, cash application, finance, collection, Oracle, and resolution skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
