Job Title: Survey CAD Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Survey CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. You will collaborate closely with a Licensed Surveyor and field crew members to draft and layout survey projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Your role is pivotal in land surveying and engineering projects, ensuring precise and high-quality outputs.
Responsibilities
+ Interpret raw survey data collected by field surveyors, including measurements, angles, and elevation points.
+ Create detailed drawings, maps, plans, and layouts using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including topographic maps, boundary surveys, subdivision layouts, and more.
+ Accurately depict property boundaries, easements, right-of-ways, and other legal aspects with the assistance of a Licensed Surveyor.
+ Ensure the accuracy and quality of all drawings.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D with the ability to create 3D models and drawings. Ideally, 2+ years of professional experience.
+ Experience in survey drafting, including boundary, topographic, and ALTA surveys. At least 2+ years of professional experience in one or more of these areas.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience drafting residential site plans.
+ Boundary resolution experience.
+ Survey Crew Chiefs with experience drafting/processing their own surveys (70/30 field to office experience).
+ Bachelor's degree in Comprehensive Design is considered an asset.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.50/hr.
