Overnight Process Technician

+ Overnight 3rd Shift schedule is: Monday - Friday, 8:45 PM to 5:15 AM (overnights)

+ Overtime, including Saturdays and Sundays may be required.

+ Located in the Lakewood Industrial Park, Lakewood, NJ.

+ Contract-to-Hire (immediate start)

+ Paying $20 per hour

Overnight Process Technician Responsibilities:

+ Assists in the production of liquid food products and liquid food concentrates by following FDA guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOP's) and good manufacturing procedures (GMP's).

+ Breaks down, clean up and sanitizes production equipment.

+ Ensure cleanliness and quality of product and manufacturing processes

+ Blends liquid products together to make bulk batches. Lifts materials weighing up to 50lbs to chest level and places product into tanks.

+ Stages ingredients (liquids and solids) and measures exact quantities by using industrial scales with forklift assistance. Pre-weigh and ensure recipe is followed.

+ Safely operate sit-down electric forklift (training and certification is provided).

+ Operates mixing equipment, including industrial pressure vessels used to cook and process food ingredients using specific times, temperatures and detailed recipe secrets.

+ Located in the Lakewood Industrial Park.

+ Must be willing and able to work overtime (5-15 hours per week, if needed)

Overnight Process Technician Requirements:

+ High school diploma or equivalent is required.

+ Prior manufacturing, processing or other food production experience is highly desirable but is not required in lieu of other type of manufacturing or warehousing experience.

+ Prior forklift experience is a plus but not required

+ Must have the ability to read and follow written instructions.

+ Physical requirements: Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.

+ Must be able to lift using both arms and walk using both legs while carrying 5 gallon buckets of material weighing approximately 50lbs
