Job Title: SAP MM Analyst (Functional Analyst – Senior)
Clearance Required: DoD Secret Clearance
Employment Type: Contract – 12 + months
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Materials Management (MM) Analyst to provide expert-level business process guidance and configuration for the U.S. Navy's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system under the Navy ERP NETSS Program. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP MM solutions in support of procurement, inventory, and materials operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ (30%) Analyze, configure, and optimize SAP MM module to align with business and compliance requirements
+ (25%) Collaborate with stakeholders to understand procurement, sourcing, and material master data processes
+ (20%) Implement and manage system enhancements and change requests related to SAP MM
+ (15%) Ensure seamless integration between SAP MM and other modules (e.g., FI, CO, SD)
+ (10%) Provide leadership and direction to large functional or technical teams
Required Qualifications:
+ 10+ years of SAP experience , including strong expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM)
+ Proven experience with SAP MM configuration, master data management, and procurement lifecycle processes
+ Ability to serve as a technical SME across multiple project assignments
+ Strong organizational and communication skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or business field (An additional 4 years of experience or an associate degree plus 2 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree)
+ U.S. Citizenship required
+ DoD Secret Clearance required
Technical and Professional Skills:
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Experience in ERP reporting, workflow configuration, and interface development
+ Familiarity with SDLC including requirements gathering, testing, and implementation
Preferred Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of hands-on SAP MM experience in defense or federal environments
+ Familiarity with Navy ERP and DoD IT architecture
+ Knowledge of federal procurement and logistics compliance
+ Experience with change management in enterprise-level ERP systems
+ Exposure to CMMI Level 3 or higher development processes
