Position Summary: (Italic)
Meet or exceed occupancy goals through effective planning of tours, conversations, move-in’s and move-out’s. Establish a meaningful trust relationship with prospects and residents. Represent St. John’s in a positive and professional manner to encourage referrals and community cohesiveness.
Responsibilities include:
+ Meet or exceed individual sales/lease goals.
+ Cultivate leads and field new inquiries
+ Meet with prospective residents and their families by providing campus tours
+ Diligent follow-up with prospects.
+ Communicate incoming resident’s special needs or requirements to the Move-in Coordinator.
+ Work closely with other key departments to ensure units are ready for move-in
+ Complete weekly and monthly reporting on sales and move-in activity as needed/requested.
+ Assist with marketing events on/off site as well as participating in trade shows and expos as needed/requested
+ Maintain a working knowledge of the marketing software program.
+ Manage collateral inventory
+ Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment and the achievement of safe working practices.
+ Adheres to all policies and procedures of St. John’s Meadows & Brickstone.
+ Work evening and/or weekend hours as needed.
+ Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
+ Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related preferred (not required)
+ Senior housing experience preferred (not required)
+ High degree of accuracy in all assignments
+ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
+ Understand the older adult market
+ Have a positive disposition with a genuine love and concern for people.
+ Possess a high degree of initiative, creativity and good judgment as well as professional ethics, excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate others.
+ Ability to work in a stressful environment and meet deadlines as assigned
Position Competencies :
+ Must be computer literate.
+ Proficient in basic office and related skills
+ Face-to-face and phone customer service
Physical Requirements:
+ Light to moderate – A fair amount of walking, some bending/lifting of items
