Description
Responsibilities and Duties Lead by example and ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures. Foster a positive and respectful work environment that reflects the organization’s core values. Train and guide team members to prioritize safety and minimize environmental risks; promote a culture of safety engagement. Support final design concepts, configurations, and installation of Melt Shop and Roaster equipment and processes at the Zanesville Plant prior to start-up. Provide technical support during commissioning and start-up phases. Continuously assess and implement process improvements to enhance equipment reliability, productivity, capacity, throughput, quality, and efficiency. Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to optimize production while reducing costs. Lead continuous improvement initiatives. Collect and analyze operational data using scientific and statistical methods; develop and maintain reports to monitor key performance indicators. Support capital improvement projects. Conduct risk analyses of equipment, processes, and systems. Serve as a backup supervisor for the Operations department as needed

Additional Skills & Qualifications
MUST HAVEs - Bachelor of Science degree in extractive metallurgical engineering preferred; metallurgical engineering or chemical engineering degree required; - 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing - Experience in project management - Experience in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiment (DOE) methodologies Nice to Have - MS or MBA - Experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 - heavy manufacturing experience

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $48.08/hr.
