Job Title: Civil EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to oversee geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing projects. This role involves report preparation, project management, and ensuring the highest standards in construction materials testing are met.

Responsibilities

+ Manage and lead geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing projects, including preparing and reviewing reports.

+ Conduct and supervise construction materials testing in accordance with standards such as ASTM, AASHTO, DOT, and ACI.

+ Perform geotechnical studies, analyses, and design work.

+ Develop and adhere to project budgets and schedules.

+ Read and develop construction plans and specifications proficiently.

+ Manage and review laboratory analysis of soil and construction material samples.

Essential Skills

+ Civil engineering

+ Geotechnical engineering

+ Entry-level experience in civil/geotechnical engineering (0-2 years)

+ Construction materials testing

+ Construction management

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in civil or geotechnical engineering.

+ Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

+ Physical ability to walk through uneven terrain, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment

The position is based on-site at our Fairhope, AL office, with occasional visits to job sites. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects such as the I-10 Mobile Bay Bridge and other long-term Gulf Coast projects. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
