Job Title: Project Manager
Job Description
The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of projects and programs, ensuring their successful completion. This role involves setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring the progress of projects. The Project Manager will prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of the projects and programs. A bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience in the field or a related area are preferred. This position requires familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures, and the ability to rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Creativity and latitude are expected, as the role involves leading and directing the work of others.
Responsibilities
+ Set deadlines and assign responsibilities for project completion.
+ Monitor and summarize project progress.
+ Prepare status reports for upper management.
+ Lead and direct the work of others.
+ Ensure projects are installed properly with a focus on automation and MHE equipment.
+ Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Collaborate with other teams in operational warehouses.
+ Communicate effectively with third-party vendors.
+ Hold vendors accountable and resolve interpersonal conflicts.
+ Identify gaps in standards and ensure the highest standards are met.
Essential Skills
+ Project management experience (3-5 years).
+ Engineering experience (3-5 years).
+ Familiarity with project management and vendor management.
+ Ability to earn trust and insist on the highest standards.
+ Quick learning ability.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in large scale projects within construction or manufacturing launches.
+ Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
Work Environment
The work environment includes 10-20% travel, with the majority of work being conducted remotely or in the office. The Project Manager will work closely with the regional team to complete multiple automation installation projects, utilizing technology for heavy tracking, project management, and communication. The role is based in Seattle and requires collaboration within operational warehouses.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
