**Location** : New Hartford, NY

**Shift** :

+ 1st: 7:30a - 4p

+ 2nd: 3:30p - 12:00a

**Pay** : $18 - $20/hr

Job Description

Operate manufacturing and testing equipment for all products, providing essential support in manufacturing, testing, evaluation, and documentation for production processes.

Responsibilities

+ Read, understand, and follow procedures.

+ Maintain production records and enter data in electronic files.

+ Perform routine equipment maintenance, including minor repairs and modifications.

+ Carry out sheet manufacturing responsibilities such as hot roll sheet, cold roll sheet, waterjet use, shear edges, surface grind sheet, acid etch sheet, anneal sheet, hot press annealing, and shipping preparation and final cleaning.

+ Measure sheets using measuring equipment.

+ Maintain production records and ensure product identity.

+ Receive, identify, sort, document, store, and distribute sheet and thin sheet samples for chemistry, metallographic, and mechanical tests.

+ Safely handle hazardous materials and wastes to carry out production processes.

+ Work safely and follow all safety procedures.

+ Assembly and machine operation skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or GED

Work Environment

The work environment is within a medical device manufacturing company, where employees are expected to handle specialized equipment. Safety procedures are paramount and the ability to work with hazardous materials is required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
