    Description

    This position is open because they're coming up on their busy peak season, and are looking to bring someone on permanently once they've fulfilled their contract period.

     

    The primary function of this position is to deliver, installation, and pick up of portable AC units daily.

     

    • Will be driving a 14" or 16" box truck.

    • Spot Coolers supplies clients with portable Air Conditioning units when theirs is out of service or if they need extra air conditioning during the summer months. Their clients could offices, retail spaces, or warehouses. a

    • The candidate will respond to calls from clients when they need their picked up from their location or if they need a installed.

     

    - Could be driving around Easy Bay, Monterey, Sacramento, Stockton etc.

     

    • The candidate will be trained on how to run portable duct work into the ceiling at the client site and turn on the AC.

    • This position does require the candidate to be able to you basic hand tools.

    Driver, customer service, bobtail, box truck, install

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    - One plus year of experience driving bobtail or box trucks

     

    - Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and flexibility.

     

    - Clean DMV record.

     

    - HVAC experience a big plus.

     

    - Equipment rental experience would be a big plus; Herc Rentals, United Rentals etc.

     

    - Past UPS/DHL/Fedex drivers would be huge plus.

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
