    Job Title: Construction Supplies Retail Associate

    Job Description

    The Retail Counter Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service at the sales counter by assisting customers with product inquiries, order processing, and material selection. This position requires knowledge of building materials and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist customers with product inquiries and material selection at the sales counter.

    + Process customer orders efficiently and accurately.

    + Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of building materials and construction.

    + Ensure excellent customer service in all interactions.

    + Operate computer and point-of-sale systems effectively.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong customer service skills.

    + Experience in counter sales and construction.

    + Proficiency in computer operation and sales processing.

    + Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent required.

    + Previous experience in retail sales, construction, or a lumber yard setting preferred.

    + Knowledge of construction materials and home improvement is strongly preferred.

    Work Environment

     

    Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, with a requirement to work one Saturday a month from 8am-12pm. The work environment is fast-paced and team-oriented, involving extensive interaction with customers and operation of a computer and point-of-sale system.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Hanover, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $35360.00 - $37440.00/yr.
