    Reporting to the VP of Talent and Change Management, the Director of Organizational Development and Change will play a key role in the planning and implementation of Organizational Development, Organizational Effectiveness, and Change initiatives at Bright Horizons. The individual will collaborate with their Talent Management and Learning colleagues to build the frameworks that support an enterprise Talent strategy. The individual will also provide thought leadership, tools, and resources to successfully implement large-scale change initiatives at Bright Horizons.

     

    This** **Hybrid** **role requires in-person work 3 days a week at our Newton, MA headquarters.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct organizational needs analyses and design data-driven solutions to address issues impacting organizational performance and effectiveness

    + Collaborate with HRBPs and business leaders on organizational design and development opportunities, including organizational redesign efforts, fostering high performing teams, and managing change

    + Support the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and frameworks that improve employee experience and engagement and identify solutions to address organizational capability gaps

    + Develop effective change management strategies and frameworks to ensure successful implementation of large scale change. This includes partnering with stakeholders to set clear expectations and deliverables; creating templates and tools to conduct impact analyses and build change and communication plans; and identifying the training and reinforcement interventions to ensure successful adoption.

    + Develop exceptional relationships and strong lines of communication across all businesses and the HR Function to allow for effective, on-going collaboration.

    Minimum Job Requirements

    + Bachelor’s Degree required in Human Resources, Organizational Development and/or Effectiveness, Industrial or Organizational Psychology

    + 5 years professional experience in a change management role focused on shifting mindsets and behaviors to achieve results and Strategic design, development, and implementation of organizational development

    Additional Job Requirements

    + Proven ability to influence, coach and mentor others in Organizational Development and Change Management

    + Strong communication skills and facilitation skills in a variety of settings

    + Ability to work effectively with business leaders and influence key stakeholders without formal authority

    + Certification in Change Management methodologies (e.g., Prosci) is desired but not required

    + Strong business acumen, problem solving, and decision-making ability.

    + Ability to anticipate situations, stay ahead of trends and develop impactful organizational effectiveness solutions.

    + Must be a self-starter with strong execution skills
