    Job Title: Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic

    About the Role** **:

    We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team as a mobile service technician. This role is ideal for an experienced mechanic who owns a pickup truck equipped with tools and is ready to hit the road to service and repair heavy machinery at job sites across the region.

    Key Responsibilities** **:

    + Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and more.

    + Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, hydraulic system checks, and brake inspections.

    + Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on-site.

    + Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with dispatch and clients.

    + Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company and industry standards.

    Requirements:

    + Minimum 3 years of experience working with heavy equipment (construction, agricultural, or industrial).

    + Own a reliable pickup truck capable of transporting tools and parts.

    + Own a full set of mechanic tools suitable for field service work.

    + Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

    + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

    + Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

    + Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + ASE or OEM certifications (e.g., Caterpillar, John Deere, Komatsu).

    + Welding and fabrication experience.

    + CDL license (not required but a plus).

    + Familiarity with diagnostic software and mobile apps.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
