Job Description

We are seeking skilled Structural Steel Welders to perform frame and structural work for an exciting project in Petersburg, VA. Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in welding on structural steel, with expertise in stick, MIG, or fluxcore welding techniques.

Responsibilities

+ Perform welding tasks on structural steel using stick, MIG, or fluxcore techniques.

+ Interpret blueprints and welding symbols to ensure precise and accurate work.

+ Ensure all welding work meets quality and safety standards.

+ Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of experience in welding on structural steel.

+ Proficiency in stick, MIG, and fluxcore welding techniques.

+ Ability to interpret and work from blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with welding on various steel structures.

+ Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Work Environment

Work onsite at the Service Center Metals in Petersburg, VA, from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 5 pm. This position involves working in a dynamic and hands-on environment where safety and precision are prioritized.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Charles City, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
