    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring production uptime by completing scheduled maintenance and repairs in a thorough, safe, and timely manner. The technician will complete work orders as dictated by the maintenance software program or through verbal or written instructions provided by maintenance management.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on equipment and machinery as needed.

    + Execute preventive maintenance according to outlined work orders.

    + Install electrical, mechanical, and building systems as required.

    + Conduct metal fabrication tasks as necessary.

    + Operate aerial lifts when required.

    + Complete all tasks in a timely, safe, and professional manner.

    Essential Skills

    + Two years of hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical equipment or equivalent education in a trade or technical school.

    + General mathematical ability.

    + Ability to read, write, and comprehend complex instructions and correspondence.

    + Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, and decision-making.

    + Capability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.

    + Proficiency in basic math functions including fractions and percentages.

    + Competence in operating overhead cranes, forklift trucks, and other equipment.

    + Ability to operate various hand tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 5+ years of industrial maintenance and electrical experience with 480V+ systems.

    + Knowledge in electrical troubleshooting, PLCs, controls, and circuit boards.

    + Experience with electrical wiring, electric motors, and motors.

    Work Environment

     

    The job is set in a very large facility with multiple shops, offering a semi-climate controlled environment. While the machine shop can become warm in summer and cool in winter, it maintains a fairly clean workspace, though some areas may vary.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $64480.00/yr.
