    Machine Operator Needed - Production / Food Manufacturing

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate to join our team. You will be an integral part of the production line, ensuring the smooth operation of production activities and maintaining quality standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Follow all safety and quality guidelines.

    + Assist in preparing the production line for runs, including performing proper safety checks and staging raw materials.

    + Conduct production counts, quality checks, and record downtime.

    + Operate all production equipment according to defined standards and product specification targets.

    + Properly handle raw materials and assist in identifying potential quality issues.

    + Escalate issues to the Operator, Production Supervisor, and Warehouse Manager as needed.

    + Maintain production and warehouse areas in a clean state and follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs).

    + Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and ensure compliance with certifications such as Organic, Kosher, HACCP, and SQF.

    + Maintain 5S standards in the production department.

    + Assist in packing and palletizing products, and clean and sanitize production equipment.

    Essential Skills

    + Previous food manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.

    + Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, and PPE requirements.

    + Good communication and teamwork skills.

    + Basic reading and math skills.

    + Ability to lift 55 lbs.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.

    + Knowledge of manual and power jack operation (training will be provided if necessary).

    + Basic computer skills; Redzone experience is a plus, but not required.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in a smaller, family-oriented facility that smells like taco seasoning. The facility is climate-controlled, providing a comfortable working environment. The standard work hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with limited chances for overtime in the warehouse.

    This is a Contract position based out of Kansas City, Missouri.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $20.00/hr.
