Job Title: Mechanical Assembly

Job Description

Join our team as a Mechanical Assembly professional, where you will engage in a variety of tasks in our shop. Your main focus will be on assembling our products, including blowers, pumps, and tanks, with a significant emphasis on plumbing work. You will perform mechanical assembly and plumbing tasks, conduit bending, and assembly of piping on wastewater equipment. You will also read and interpret layout drawings, assemble PVC and galvanized piping, and construct wooden enclosures.

Responsibilities

+ Perform mechanical assembly of products, including blowers, pumps, and tanks.

+ Engage in plumbing tasks, including conduit bending.

+ Assemble piping on wastewater equipment.

+ Read and interpret layout drawings for accurate assembly.

+ Assemble PVC pipe and galvanized piping.

+ Ensure equipment is assembled according to specific angles using mathematics.

+ Build enclosures made of wood.

+ Cross-train in all areas and be willing to learn.

Essential Skills

+ 2 years of mechanical assembly experience.

+ 2 years of experience in building things and/or using hand tools.

+ Ability to read blueprints and layout drawings.

+ Strong mechanical inclination.

+ Self-starter attitude.

Work Environment

Work in a small shop with about 10 employees where casual dress is the norm. Expect to wear jeans and boots as part of the manufacturing attire.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
