Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Industrial Maintenance Technician serves as a subject matter expert and a key member of the production team. This role involves maintaining the industrial equipment essential for product manufacturing. The technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. The role supports the achievement of business goals by adhering to safety, predictive, and preventive maintenance systems and processes.
Responsibilities
+ Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
+ Assist in the daily operation and direction of the maintenance function.
+ Set priorities and troubleshoot issues that could disrupt production schedules.
+ Act as a lead on designated activities and interface with operators and external contacts.
+ Support the accomplishment of organizational goals and objectives.
Essential Skills
+ Experience working as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial maintenance manufacturing environment.
+ Working knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
+ 3+ years of manufacturing experience with strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills.
+ Some PLC experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associate’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance.
+ Maintenance Journeyman’s Card or equivalent certification.
+ Supervisory or team leadership experience.

Work Environment
Work in a distribution center setting, primarily independently. This is a 2nd shift opportunity with hours from roughly 3pm to 1am, Monday through Friday, with occasional early starts on Fridays. Initial training will occur on the first shift for at least three weeks, potentially up to three months, dependent on learning pace. Training will be conducted by an experienced former contractor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buda, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
