    Job Title: CNC Programmer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our aerospace machine shop team. This role is ideal for someone with strong programming experience, particularly with Mazak machines and software, who thrives in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and optimize CNC programs for Mazak machines using CAM software.

    + Split time between programming (70%) and working on the shop floor (30%) to support setup, troubleshooting, and process improvements.

    + Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and supervisors to ensure efficient production and high-quality output.

    + Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.

    + Maintain documentation and update programs as needed for continuous improvement.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 3 years of CNC programming experience, preferably in the aerospace industry.

    + Strong knowledge of Mazak machines and controls.

    + Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and GD&T.

    + Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

    + Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Mastercam and Solidworks.

    + Understanding of Mazatrol programming.

    + Knowledge of CNC mill and CNC lathe operations.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, Alabama.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $43.00/hr.
