Job Title: Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team for construction projects based in Savannah, Georgia. This position is responsible for installing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring that work is done in accordance with relevant codes. The role involves the technical application of electrical principles and requires the use of appropriate equipment and the implementation of required safety practices.

Responsibilities

+ Install electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with relevant codes.

+ Perform rough-ins and final installations of conduit and MC Cable.

+ Install electrical panels, lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and wiring for equipment.

+ Conduct start-up and energizing procedures of equipment.

+ Work with fire systems and focus on common areas such as main floors, basements, hallways, stairwells, restaurants, and rooftop bars.

+ Provide necessary tools, including but not limited to pliers, screwdrivers, voltage meters, and cordless drills.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in commercial electrical work, with a preference for hotel experience.

+ Proficiency in running MC Cable and pulling cable.

+ Ability to install lighting, panels, switches, outlets, and other electrical components.

+ Comprehensive understanding of electrical codes.

+ Proficient in reading blueprints.

+ Use of all necessary electrical tools.

+ 5+ years of experience or journeyman status.

+ Troubleshooting, conduit bending, and repair skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Must have journeyman or equivalent status.

+ All training, education, and certifications will be considered.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
