Job Title: MIG Welder ($25/hr)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to complete welding of prefabricated assemblies. The successful candidate will set up welding machines unassisted for any process or material thickness, operate a variety of fabrication equipment, and fabricate and weld complex assemblies from blueprints.

Responsibilities

+ Complete welding of prefabricated assemblies.

+ Set up welding machines unassisted for any process or material thickness.

+ Operate a variety of fabrication equipment including plate roller, saw, pipe roller, and drill press.

+ Fabricate and weld complex assemblies from blueprints.

+ Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise fabrication.

Essential Skills

+ 3-5 years of welding experience.

+ Proficiency in MIG welding (GMAW).

+ Proficiency in Flux core welding (FCAW).

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Experience working with stainless steel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Knowledgeable in operating fabrication equipment such as plate rollers, saws, pipe rollers, and drill presses.

+ Ability to fabricate complex assemblies unassisted.

Work Environment

The role is based in a fabrication shop that is non-climate controlled, which means it can get hot. You will work with a variety of fabrication equipment in a dynamic setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
