Job Title: Floor Care Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Floor Care Technician to join our team in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within hospital rooms and facilities. Your expertise in floor care will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

+ Clean and service hospital rooms and facilities to maintain high standards of hygiene.

+ Strip, wax, and buff hallways to ensure floors are in optimal condition.

+ Perform janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, and sanitation to maintain cleanliness.

+ Sanitize surfaces and equipment to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.

Essential Skills

+ Proven experience in floor care and maintenance.

+ Ability to strip, wax, and buff floors efficiently.

+ Strong knowledge of janitorial and sanitation practices.

+ Proficiency in operating floor care equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience as a janitor or floor care technician.

+ Familiarity with hospital cleaning protocols.

+ Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.75 - $16.75/hr.
