Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our team. This role involves setting up and maintaining equipment, performing visual inspections, troubleshooting machinery, and ensuring the smooth operation of our production line. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a desire to learn and tackle challenges.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate equipment efficiently.

+ Perform visual inspections to ensure quality.

+ Troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime.

+ Complete preventative maintenance as required.

+ Inspect random production samples to maintain production and quality.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical aptitude.

+ Experience with machine operation and troubleshooting.

+ Ability to use stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks.

+ Strong attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Forklift certification preferred but not required.

+ Ability to understand customer specifications and expectations.

+ Detail-oriented and focused on delivering quality.

+ Persistent and resilient in achieving goals.

+ Problem-solving skills with an understanding of mechanical systems.

+ Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Work Environment

This position is located in a family-owned packaging facility. The facility is extremely clean but not climate controlled, so it may be warm in the summer and cold in the winter. However, fans are available in the summer to maintain a breezy environment. The company has an excellent reputation, with many long-term employees, and strives to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Hebron, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $39520.00/yr.

We have Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K with a company match. Short and Long term disability and life insurance. We also give 40 hours vacation on your 90th day and there are 11 paid holidays.

Pay/performance reviews at 45 and 90 days

This is a fully onsite position in Hebron,KY.
