    Hiring for a Welder

     

    Pay** **- 22-25/hr

     

    Shift** **- 2nd shift - 3pm-1:30am - M-Th.

     

    3rd shift - 10pm-8:30am - M-Th.

    Job Description

    + **Perform various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations.**

    + **Manufacture products according to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.**

    + **Utilize welding equipment to make repairs to discontinuities of submerged arc weld seams on steel pipe.**

    + **Perform process inspection, certification, and documentation.**

    + **Maintain welding equipment and ensure it is in good working order.**

    + **Apply finish grinding using manual and power tools.**

    Essential Skills

    + **Proficient in assigned welding techniques.**

    + **Working knowledge of fixtures and weld set-up parameters (amps, volts, etc.).**

    + **Ability to use conventional and precision measuring instruments.**

    + **Experience in process inspection, certification, and documentation.**

    + **Knowledge of welding equipment maintenance.**

    + **Ability to perform finish grinding applications using manual and power tools.**

    + **Ability to utilize various hand tools and equipment.**

    + **Experience with mobile device applications and programs.**

    + **Adherence to safety and housekeeping standards.**

    + **Successful completion of an internal welding test.**

    + **One-year experience in various forms of welding.**

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $49920.00/yr.
