• Forklift Technician

    Job Description

    + Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on forklifts and other material-handling equipment.

    + Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

    + Replace or repair worn components, including tires, brakes, and batteries.

    + Maintain accurate service records of all inspections, repairs, and replacements.

    + Conduct safety checks to ensure compliance with OSHA and company regulations.

    + Monitor warehouse equipment and report potential issues to the maintenance supervisor.

    + Collaborate with warehouse staff to identify and address equipment needs.

    + Stay updated on new technologies and best practices in forklift maintenance.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in forklift repair and maintenance.

    + Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

    + Ability to perform preventive maintenance and diagnose electrical circuits.

    + Familiarity with load-bearing wheels, greasing, and electrical wiring.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $63000.00/yr.
