    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a General Laborer on the 1st Shift from 6:15 AM to 2:45 PM. You will play a critical role in supporting aerospace production by operating chop saws to remove ceramic materials and filter balls, as well as cutting metal parts to precise specifications. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, as you will utilize measuring equipment to ensure specifications are met, operate computers to insert data on finished parts, and interpret work instructions. Occasionally, you will use micrometers and gauges to maintain accuracy in production.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate chop saws to remove ceramic material, filter balls, and rods from aerospace parts.

    + Utilize measuring equipment to ensure specifications are correct.

    + Cut metal parts to specifications of aerospace clients.

    + Lift up to 50 lbs when needed.

    + Operate computers to insert data on finished parts.

    + Read and interpret work instructions.

    + Occasionally use micrometers and gauges.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ years of manufacturing experience.

    + Ability to lift 50 lbs.

    + Mechanical aptitude.

    + Computer literacy and experience utilizing computers.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a smaller facility equipped with four different saws and a warehouse containing chemicals for cleaning finished metal parts. Collaborate with a close-knit team where every member is valued, and work together towards a shared goal.

    This is a position based out of Chagrin Falls, Ohio.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
