    Maintenance Technician $26-32/hr

    Job Description

    Under general supervision, this position safely performs advanced and expert level diagnoses, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and reconditioning in compliance with company policies.

    Responsibilities

    + Follow and comply with all safety standards including Lock Out, Electrical Arc Flash, and Fall Protection.

    + Provide safe and timely mechanical and electrical support.

    + Interpret and work from complicated drawings, blueprints, worksheets, equipment manuals and other related documents.

    + Conduct advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of manufacturing and facility equipment.

    + Participate in continuous improvement activities.

    + Perform various hot work tasks.

    + Order supplies and repair items as necessary.

    + Set up and operate equipment used to make and repair parts, such as a lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools.

    + Work at heights of 10'-0" or more and in tight spaces.

    + Troubleshoot low voltage PLCs.

    + Use trade math with drawings and precision measuring instruments.

    + Utilize office PC skills (Excel) and specific software (CMMS).

    + Understand spare part inventory process.

    + Work independently and across a functional team environment.

    Essential Skills

    + Electrical troubleshooting

    + Mechanical repair

    + Pneumatics

    + Preventive maintenance

    + Advanced knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems

    + General knowledge of electrical systems, VFD, and PLC systems

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to interpret and work from complicated drawings and blueprints

    + Office PC skills (Excel) and specific software (CMMS)

    + Understanding of spare part inventory process

    + Ability to work at heights and in tight spaces

    + Capable of working independently and across a functional team environment

    Work Environment

     

    This position requires candidates to work on-site at the manufacturing facility. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:30 am to 4:30 pm, with additional Friday or weekend work as necessary. Overtime may be required as needed.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Las Vegas, Nevada

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $26.25 - $32.05/hr.
