Job Title: Packer

Job Description

Join our team at a state-of-the-art distribution center located in Walcott, IA, where you will play a vital role in efficiently managing our inventory and shipments. As a packer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including picking orders, packing boxes, and sorting and staging shipments both inbound and outbound. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety and continuous improvement will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our operations.

Responsibilities

+ Pick, pack, and ship customer orders as needed.

+ Verify the accuracy of incoming product shipments and process associated paperwork.

+ Stock shelves and manage warehouse inventory.

+ Participate in continuous improvement and safety programs.

+ Receive orders, conduct inventory counts, and perform data entry.

+ Unload and load trucks efficiently.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with packing, production, and general labor tasks.

+ Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.

+ Proficiency in order picking and shipping and receiving processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Warehouse inventory management experience.

+ Forklift and distribution center experience is a plus but not required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Walcott, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.50/hr.
