Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled electrician to join our project team. The role involves a significant focus on running conduit, installing cables, installing boxes, and running electrical lines, accounting for 50-70% of the work. The position also requires installing, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance on plant equipment including corrugators, automatic valves, transmitters, regulators, DCS, and overhead cranes.

Responsibilities

+ Run conduit and install electrical lines, cables, and boxes.

+ Install, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment.

+ Troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs.

+ Perform instrumentation and calibration of equipment.

+ Replace and rewire DC Motors, particularly 480V.

+ Repair and setup Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).

+ Interpret ladder logic and schematics, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic drawings.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of high-level electrician experience.

+ Experience with changing valves and transmitters.

+ Effective troubleshooting of PLCs.

+ High School Diploma.

+ Post-high school education, volunteer work, or relevant certifications.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
