    Job Title: Welder

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled welder with expertise in MIG and TIG welding to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with thin gauge materials and be proficient in reading blueprints and shop diagrams. This role involves performing MIG welding on steel parts and aluminum, cutting pipe, tapping, and drilling parts as needed, and fabricating parts from blueprints.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform MIG welding on steel and aluminum parts.

    + Execute TIG welding on thin gauge materials.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and shop diagrams.

    + Cut pipe, tap, and drill parts as required.

    + Utilize metalworking machinery for fabrication tasks.

    + Grind and finish fabricated parts.

    + Band up steel for project completion.

    Essential Skills

    + 2 years of MIG welding experience.

    + 2 years of TIG welding experience.

    + Proficiency in reading blueprints and shop diagrams.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with TIG projects throughout the year.

    + Familiarity with metalworking machinery.

    Work Environment

     

    The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential flexibility after tenure. The facility is a spacious 32,000 sq. ft. building equipped with state-of-the-art fabricating equipment, including a 20-foot high bay and two 5-ton overhead cranes. The shop is climate-controlled, providing a comfortable working environment. There are no set production goals, allowing for a relaxed atmosphere where showing up with a positive attitude is key to fitting in well.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
