Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Production Worker, where you will play a crucial role in our Bottling Department. You will rotate through various positions on the production line, ensuring the efficient flow of our products. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates to gain valuable skills and experience in a steady and consistent work environment.

Responsibilities

+ Operate and maintain the production line in the Bottling Department.

+ Ensure bottles are correctly positioned using the unscrambler and orientor.

+ Fill bottles with honey using the filler.

+ Secure caps on bottles using the capper.

+ Print manufacturing dates using the coder.

+ Seal bottles using the heat tunnel.

+ Apply labels using the labeler.

+ Pack and seal boxes for shipping using the cartoner.

+ Rotate through top, middle, and packer positions during shifts.

+ Perform visual inspections and ensure documentation is accurate.

Essential Skills

+ Attention to detail and proficiency in English for documentation.

+ Ability to stand for the entire shift.

+ Capable of working effectively within a team environment.

Work Environment

Experience working in a clean, partially climate-controlled environment that adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) certifications. Our facility is regulated by the FDA, ensuring stringent policies and procedures. The dress code requires jeans and t-shirts, with no buttons or hoodies, and prohibits jewelry or food on the floor due to GMP requirements.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
