    Job Description

    Join a leading expert in ice arena construction and custom refrigeration systems as an entry-level Technician. With a legacy since 1979, the company has designed and built hundreds of ice rinks worldwide, providing services from initial installation to ongoing maintenance for municipal, high school, college, and NHL rinks across the country. In this role, you will assist in the installation of ice rinks, working extensively across the US, with an opportunity to be part of a major project installing 22 rinks in 2025.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in the installation of ice rinks, including pipe installation, sand grading, vapor barrier installation, insulation, and subfloor setup.

    + Utilize hand and power tools effectively for various construction tasks.

    + Measure and cut materials accurately using tape measure and carpentry skills.

    + Travel extensively across the US to various site locations for project completion.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in hand and power tools.

    + 6+ months of experience in construction, landscaping, concrete, or outdoor work.

    + Ability to travel for weeks at a time.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Willingness to obtain a DOT physical card.

    + Reliable transportation.

    Work Environment

     

    Work Monday through Saturday, with 50-60 hour weeks consisting of 10-hour days. Enjoy the indoor nature of jobs, taking roughly 2-3 weeks from start to finish. Site locations vary, including states such as MT, CO, WI, CT, GA, FL, IA, and more. When working locally in Minnesota, candidates can drive to the site with mileage compensation or travel with the crew.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
