    Job Title: Welder

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled fabricator for our custom metal shop. As a welder, you will work at your own welding station, following work orders and blueprints to complete various orders. Your primary focus will be on MIG welding, utilizing your expertise in fitting and assembly to deliver high-quality results.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and maintain welding equipment at your designated station.

    + Interpret blueprints and work orders to accurately fabricate components.

    + Perform MIG welding, ensuring adherence to project specifications.

    + Utilize fitting and assembly skills to complete custom orders.

    + Engage in flux core and hard wire welding as required.

    + Ensure all projects meet quality standards and deadlines.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 1 year of experience in MIG welding and fabrication from blueprints.

    + Proficiency in flux core and hard wire welding techniques.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders accurately.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a custom welding environment rather than production welding.

    + Strong understanding of grinding and assembly processes.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a dynamic environment that may be dirty and subject to temperature variations depending on the weather. The work schedule is from Monday through Thursday, offering four 12-hour shifts from 5am to 5pm.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shepherdsville, Kentucky.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
