Job Description:
Job Duties:
• Apply knowledge of project engineering and commercial application of precision-engineered products to enhance sales for automotive Body & Fuel division products, including, but not
• limited to automotive body, refueling, and/or charging components.
• Research and analyze business opportunities on a regional scale, consistent with the organization's long range and strategic plans.
• Evaluate projects through financial feasibility studies, market research, planning, and its international impact on the business.
• Travel to assigned customers to discuss potential platforms or current projects
• Oversee the development and implementation of large complex projects that have a significant impact to the business.
• Lead and develop a team of Program Managers, Project Engineering Managers, and Engineers responsible for specific portions of the overall project.
• Project yearly sales on all parts sold to customer and develop long range sales forecast. Develop and implement business growth strategies.
• Oversee planning and project timetable to ensure commitments made to customer are met in a timely manner and within budget.
Required Minimum Position Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Engineering (any) or related field of study, and 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a project, process, or manufacturing engineer, or any related occupation in which the required experience was gained.
Position also requires demonstrated experience in the following:
• Program management;
• APQP, PPAP, FMEA, DOE;
• Plastic processing and plastic product design for automotive body and fueling applications
• Coordination of engineering projects and customer requirements with Automotive OEM customers.
