We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Building Controls Installation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will assist with the installation, start-up, and troubleshooting of building automation systems to ensure optimal building performance and energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in installing control systems, including sensors, thermostats, controllers, and related hardware.

Support technicians during system start-up, calibration, and testing.

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on building control systems.

Follow technical instructions, diagrams, and safety protocols during installation.

Document work performed, including system configurations and test results.

Learn and develop skills related to building automation and control systems.

Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.

Basic understanding of electrical systems and building automation concepts.

Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Physical ability to lift equipment and work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical diagrams.

Basic knowledge of HVAC systems or electrical wiring.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $26.00/hr.
