    POSITION TITLE: Materials Control Analyst I, II (Days)

     

    SHIFT HOURS: 8:00am to 5:00pm

     

    SALARY RANGS: $ 60,000.00 - $73,000.00

     

    JOB SUMMARY: The Materials Control Analyst ensures timeliness and accuracy of both the physical and ERP system material transactions. This includes a series of complicated tasks focusing heavily on process and procedural documents and guidelines.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    + Provide direction when discrepancies are found and makes corrections, voids, and other necessary transactions.

    + Serve as a lead in developing and implementing Work Instructions (WIs), Department Operating Procedures (DOPs), obsoletions, and critical GAS tasks.

    + Provide visibility to management by tracking, process over-sight, auditing, researching, and trouble-shooting operational issues or functions related to material movements or transactions, and proposing possible solutions.

    + IQMS BOM validation and accuracy to improve scheduling; validate how long it actually takes versus what BOM states.

    + IQMS Work Center Schedule training, monitoring, and reconciliation.

    + IQMS Work Center production reporting training, monitoring, and reconciliation.

    + Perform administrative tasks associated with assisting area supervision regarding materials and materials transactions. (For example: Kanban system, Kaizen event participation, etc.)

    + Assist Inventory Control Analyst as needed to help improve inventory accuracy.

    + Communicate between all Work Centers, supervisors, and across shifts.

    ADDITIONAL RESONSIBILITIES:

    + Assist with special projects as needed.

    + All other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

    + High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management/Business related preferred.

    + A minimum of 2 years of warehousing/material-handling experience required, 2-3 years inventory and auditing experience preferred.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

    + Strong math and analytical skills.

    + Strong interpersonal skills.

    + Working knowledge of ERP systems required, IQMS EIQ preferred.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    + Knowledge of Lot control, material management.

    + Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets and databases.

    + Ability to work independently but in a team setting.
