The NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing invites applications from master’s prepared registered nurses for clinical track (continuing contract) positions, at the level of Clinical Instructor, with a start date of September 1, 2025.
Clinical-track faculty are outstanding educators who contribute to the College’s educational and scholarly mission. Clinical Instructors on this faculty track at Meyers create engaging and effective clinical learning environments that promote critical thinking, clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and patient safety; develop curricula and lesson plans; advise, mentor, guide, and evaluate students’ learning and performance; perform service activities at NYU, with the communities we serve, and as leaders within local and regional professional organizations; and advocate for policy to advance health. Outstanding performance in these positions carries possibility for promotion in rank.
We encourage applications from candidates with expertise and interest in full-time clinical instruction across our undergraduate programs, including:
• Pre-licensure clinical teaching ability across multiple content areas and teaching modalities (e.g. didactic, in simulation, and at clinical sites)
• Simulation Education including curricular and pedagogy development

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is: $85,000 - $135,000.
New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
