The Opportunity
The University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to support the CJCxDC program—a unique, immersive experience for students in our nation’s capital. This position plays a vital role in managing program operations, supporting students and faculty, and building strong relationships with alumni and industry professionals. Key Responsibilities
+ Program Coordination & Compliance:Support the planning and execution of CJCxDC programming in collaboration with the Faculty Director, ensuring adherence to UF policies and clear communication of program requirements.
+ Event & Logistics Management:Lead the coordination of program events, including student site visits, networking functions, travel arrangements, and vendor communications.
+ Digital Content & Communications:Create and distribute engaging digital content such as newsletters and social media posts while supporting student-generated materials to enhance program visibility.
+ Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting:Serve as a liaison to alumni and industry partners, coordinate student development activities, and maintain data systems to track program outcomes and generate reports.

Expected Salary:
$50,000 - $60,000
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred:
+ Experience in higher education or nonprofit administration
+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva (or similar), and customer relationship management (CRM) software
+ Knowledge of event planning, stakeholder communications, and digital content creation
+ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote setting
