Hematologist at the University of Florida.The University of Florida Department of Medicine is seeking applications for a full-time Classical Hematologist for a clinical track position in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Assistant Professor rank or higher. This position seeks an ABIM certified (or eligible) Hematologist. Applicants must be eligible for a Florida Medical License. The successful candidate will provide inpatient hematology consultations with a focus on non-malignant hematology, participate in the education of medical trainees (medical students, residents, hematology-oncology fellows), and engage in quality and safety initiatives. The position can be individualized and opportunities for leadership and research are encouraged.

The UF Division of Hematology and Oncology faculty are closely engaged and partners with the University of Florida Health Cancer Center (UFHCC), the only NCI-designated Cancer Center in North Central Florida. The center is also the only NCI-Designated Cancer Center based at a public university in Florida. The UFHCC blends comprehensive patient care and innovative research in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, with members from 11 of the 16 colleges at the University of Florida (UF). Expected Salary:Salary is negotiable, commensurate with education and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must be board-certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology and Hematology and be eligible for a Florida Medical License.
