Description
This role is responsible for managing Special Events to drive retail sales in priority US department store retailers. Primary responsibilities include- partnering with manager to create innovative event concepts aligned with NA strategy & campaigns, designing and writing event bulletins, partnering with VM and create guidelines and standards, preparing and supporting execution, and recapping and communicating results.
In addition, this position supports all retail technology in stores and the field, including, but not limited to- iPads, apps, skincare devices, QR codes, etc.
Finally, this role supports the newly created NA Cabine & Spa program, working closely with the Director of Special Events, North America Spa Pro, retailer partners, and field teams to drive our luxury business.
Key Roles and Responsibilities.
Special Events- Department Store
- Partner with Director, Special Events to create innovative event formats each season to support key categories, campaigns, launches, etc.
- Design and write event bulletins
- Lead the creative process for event collateral needs, working with vendors and partnering with VM team on execution guidelines
- Execute field and retailer roll-out/prep calls, clearly and effectively communicating the program. Support any field and retailer needs related to event execution
- Recap and communicate event results
- Attend and work select in-store events
Retail Technology
- Manage in-store counter ipads- set up, trouble shooting, field support
- Manage and communicate in-store app content- updates, pushes, communication
- Partner with global and VM to update all back-end systems
- Manage special event technology- event ipads plus additional devices as needed based on seasonal event expressions
- QR code management and reporting
- Partner with global and internal teams on any necessary reorders, edits, eliminations, etc.
- Test out new tech tools, provide feedback to global partners, and complete risk management assessments for retailers
- Understand new tools and train Field on them in partnership with Education team.
Spa & Cabine Program
- Assist Director of Special Events with all program support elements including but not limited to bulletins, how-to guides, call agendas and recaps, training needs, presentations, etc.
- Support scheduling of NA Spa Pro for in-store trainings and events
- Support in-person Spa & Cabine trainings as necessary
- Partner with Education team for any multimedia and training needs
- Manage the allocations, ordering, and communication for all Spa & Cabine supplies
- Manage Spa & Cabine Field recap and communication of results
Qualifications
- Microsoft Suite proficiency, including basic excel, Adobe Suite proficiency, general design skills.
- Minimum Education level: Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years
- % Travel Time: 15%
Pay Range:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is **$80,750.00** **to** **$132,650.00** **.** Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
